Trails Diverged
As a professional guide and local, I’m here to introduce you to the sights, sounds, and incredible experiences that await you on your travels. I know every trail is unique- and so is every hiker; that’s why I offer custom experiences adapted to meet your specific needs. Whether it’s your first time hiking or you’re ready for a big challenge- I’m here to guide you.
I work with both tourists and local youth programs to provide access and experience the beauty of The PNW wild.
What sets us apart?
At Trails Diverged, safety, compassion, and connection are at the heart of everything we do. We are fully licensed and insured, and all of our guides maintain Wilderness First Responder certification. With decades of experience navigating both land and water, our team excels in risk assessment, preparedness, and calmly handling the unexpected—so you can feel secure while exploring the wild.
We specialize in welcoming beginners. Trish knows firsthand how discouraging it can be to feel judged when trying something new. That’s why we’ve built a culture of patience, respect, and encouragement. You’ll never feel rushed or talked down to. Instead, we walk you through each step with care, helping you build skills and confidence at your own pace.
Our tours go beyond the trail. Every outing includes natural and historical insights about the landscapes we travel through, deepening your connection to the places we explore.
Come outside with us—and discover just how good it feels to feel capable, curious, and connected in the great outdoors.
Outdoors with a Purpose
We believe everyone has a right to explore and experience the great outdoors. We also know that having the right gear, knowledge, and access can be restricted by financial barriers.
We are working to remove these barriers by providing gear and guiding services to engage income restricted youth.
Do you have gear to donate? Do you know a local group that could use our services? Please reach out!

About
I have been a dedicated Professional Guide since 2020, and I was awarded the prestigious REI Guide of the Year Award in 2024.
During our time together, I will call upon of 6,000 miles of baccountry experience & Search and Rescue experience to help you enjoy the outdoors safely. My mission is to provide a personalized experience that shows a different side of the world to my clients, and to help them gain a better and deeper understanding of the sites and destinations we visit.
My passion is helping people that don't have the income to "try out" backpacking and wilderness exploration. My goal is to make access affordable and safe, while building confidence and life-long memories.
I have Wilderness First Responder training and practice the Leave No Trace principles so that we can recreate responsibly and conserve our special places for generations to come. I also teach Wilderness survival classes and backcountry navigation - I take care of the planning and medical gear so you can relax and enjoy the view.
If you’d like to tour with me, please get in touch so I can start creating the perfect itinerary for you.
